Studs or Pins are all thread rods that screw into holes or blocks on the back of the letter and typically get glued into holes in the mounting surface using a liquid adhesive such as silicon caulk, liquid nails or epoxy
Most letters will have one or more of this type of mount available depending on the size, thickness and product type you choose.
Surface mounts are typically better for indoor use since the sign letters are not physically attached with hardware and may fall off the mounting surface. Some form of liquid adhesive such as silicon caulk, liquid nails or epoxy is needed
Molded Plastics are hollow in the back and cannot use tape or glue directly on the back.
We have many other types of letters for making both indoor and outdoor signs.
