Cast metal letters are the pinnacle in dimensional lettering; offering greater dimension than solid sheet flat cut out letters at a cheaper price. Cast metal letters establish a sense of permanency wherever they are installed and convey an image of success about the company that utilizes them in its signage.
Cast metal letters are made in two distinct metals. Both our cast Aluminum letters and cast Bronze letters are made from mercury and lead free prime ingots, cast in virgin sand molds that produce faces and returns that are pit and blemish free. They can be left satin finished with or without a clear coat or they can be anodized, oxidized or given a green old world patina finish. Cast metal letters can also be painted in one our many baked enamel colors.
Additionally, we can custom cast your special font, your logo's and your designs. There are currently 39 distinctive styles to choose from, many with lower case. There are 12 metal finishes and 42 baked enamel colors.
Most of our cast metal letters come in flat face designs with the exception of the Architectural font which is bevel faced and the Roman Round font which has a round face.
CAST ALUMINUM SIGN LETTERS:
When your looking for a heavy metal sign letter with lots of dimensional thickness and relativly low cost, a cast aluminum sign letter will be considerably cheaper than a similar size sign letter that has been cut out from solid aluminum sheet. This is because the cast aluminum sign letter is made in a mold. It is hollow in the back and that means less material which in turn equates to less cost. The sign letter or house number can be much deeper than a traditionally cut out letter. Cast aluminum sign letters come in natural satin, can be anodized to look like gold or bronze and can also be painted in a variety of colors.
CAST BRONZE SIGN LETTERS:
Bronze has become terribly expensive on the world market and therefore it makes a lot of sense to use cast bronze sign letters due to the fact that casting in a mold uses less material, gives greater dimensional thickness and therefore costs less than a similar sized bronze sign letter that has been cut from solid bronze sheet. Cast bronze sign letters can be polished, oxidized or satin brushed and we can also patina the letters or numbers to give a bluish green appearance. |
